I think there is some confusion here. MAAST officers, if I am incorrect in what I am saying, please let me know.

If you are not a business, but just a person who has frags you want to trade/sell then all you need to do is either A (pay $25 for Charter member status) or B (Wait for 150 meaningful posts and then you can post to the trade boards. The business sponsorship is only if you make a large portion of your income selling Aquarium life, accessories, etc.

If you ask me, it's a $25 well spent supporting this club and all it does.

you are correct. hobbyists [members] who trade/sell their propogated livestock on the forums do not have to become sponsors. we have many web members who have been quite successful in selling their items on the forums. now as a non-profit organization that wholly sustains itself on charter and sponsor memberships, we do encourage you to become a charter member.

and aside from bypassing the 150 post limit, you also gain access to charter only forums, constests, and discounts with many of our sponsor retailers.
