    Default FEE's

Hello I am new to the area and would like to start selling frags, I noticed allot of members selling frags for a good chunk of change. Do I have to pay a sponsorship fee as an actual Business as I am not a store front operation or is it a free for all. I do plan on becoming a Charter Membership at some point in time but also noticed web members can sell also.I will hold on awhile to see how things go. I look forward for the things to come.

Maybe I am a litte confused, but can someone please clarify this if all I have to pay is the $25 charter membership fee......

q Vendor/Sponsors: Any member who is selling equipment, dry goods, or livestock for a profit, either through a storefront or through the internet, will not be permitted to post these items in the Trade & Selling forums. This is reserved for the best interest of our paid vendors and sponsors. If you are interested in becoming a vendor/sponsor here on MAAST, please contact the BOD. Once sponsorship dues are paid, a vendor/sponsor will have their own forum in the Sponsor’s Forum to post items for sale. Charter members and web members are not discouraged for selling propagated livestock from their own personal tanks. If it is determined that propagated livestock is being sold for profit through a tax issued business, those threads will be deleted and the member will be asked to talk to the BOD about becoming a sponsor.

If I am reading this correctly, then I have to be a Vendor/Sponsor to sell frags?

    I am so confused...............

Web members have to have a minimum of 150 legitimate posts in order to sell in the for sale forums.. Post padding is not allowed and closely monitored.

I think there is some confusion here. MAAST officers, if I am incorrect in what I am saying, please let me know.

    Mr Pyro/Jtrott,

If you are not a business, but just a person who has frags you want to trade/sell then all you need to do is either A (pay $25 for Charter member status) or B (Wait for 150 meaningful posts and then you can post to the trade boards. The business sponsorship is only if you make a large portion of your income selling Aquarium life, accessories, etc.

If you ask me, it's a $25 well spent supporting this club and all it does.

There is only one reason that this would not be totally correct and that is if your posts are predominately For sale posts as in more than 50% of your posts are for sale posts, then you may be required to make more contributory posts in the education side of the site. We have actually had to suspend someone's for sale privileges because they had 80% of their posts were in the F/S forums.
