So does anyone know if the top down photoboxes would help with the flash and the reflection of the lights ruining your pics?

Ok, I am FAR from a photography expert, but I think the topdown box will only help with clarity. The flash is definitely the problem in those photos above, keeping the colors from looking like they should. I can tell that you have a bunch of beautiful and colorful corals, but looking at those psychedelic photos makes me a little woozy!
Our cheap point and shoot camera (Nikon S550) has the option of choosing different flash settings, to include a night-time flash and no flash, etc. Look for that option and play with your flash settings for different results.

i generally tank pics with no flash and top top down pics with all pumps off and they come out great

thanks. Its a nikon coolpix L5. Traci got it off of ebay, Idont think she has the manual but I would think theres got to be a way to turn off the flash

User manual is available to download online. I, too, am sure there's got to be a way to turn off the flash, considering it's a nicer camera than ours!
