Thread: Purple with Green Mouth Prism Favia Frags

  1. #1

Default Purple with Green Mouth Prism Favia Frags

I picked up a really nice size colony of prism favia the other day but need to frag it a little to make it fit.

Sorry... not the best picture I have ever taken but helps give you an idea of color

Frags will be $35 per 4 polyps

Coral is purple with electric green centers. New growth edges are green.

Hi Princer, Just FYI and not very important but thought you might be interested. This coral isn't really a Favia but it's close cousin a Favite. The way to tell the difference is that in favia sp. the coralites don't share a common wall, each one is a seperate circle connected at the bottom and not the sides to the corals skeleton. This coral though does have all the coralites sharing a common wall.
