    Default Wave 2k wave box

Has anyone tried these? I am starting to add rock and fish to my 120 gallon cube (thanks Jason at A.D.) I would like to get rid of all the brand ner hydors that I bough and use a wave box. My question is the cube is 30" x 30". Is this too short for a wave box? Aby ideas? BTW I will be selling my 100 with custom stand and canopy for a rightous price within a week.

Don't have one myself, but I know someone who has one. Only complaint is the noise from the belt/pulley system. He said it was a little annoying. Good water movement and backflow.

For the price and footprint, I'd go with a vortech mp20. Don't know how much wave you'll get on a 30" tank since occilations will be fast. But the mp20 will give you more flow options besides standing waves.

I have one of their corner wave makers, and as Dude says the pulley and belt puts out a lot of noise, That said, it also creates a good circulation on the bottom of the device. like a piston going up & down. See my review on the MarineDepot website
