Snail ID???

one way to tell if they are auger snails is look for a line in the sand were it stops dig there if you pull a snail up (try both ends) its a auger if they don't bury themselves probly not an auger. i used to pull augers up in guam when i would dive out there. looks like them but could be a type of cone as well

yeah those definately do bury themselves, when I was down at the coast...I was watching them quickly bury themselves.
