    Default Camera

I just bought a new 125 with a 55 gallon sump and I want to document the build but all I have is a camera phone. What is a good camera I can buy for the pictures that won't break my bank?

OK, great! Thanks for the responses. Yes, $150 is good for me, $400-500 is way too much. I see both Panasonic and Cannon have cameras in that range. What am I looking for.. mega pixels?

(Look for a 125 gallon build thread when I get my new camera.!)

    megapixels is just marketing bs.

decide what form factor you want first and go from there:

    pocket size?

    look at the SD/Elph lineup

    bigger?

    look for a powershot

    http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...&modelid=17480

once you select what size you want then look for the options that are important to you: zoom, memory, videos, etc . . .

if you have questions ask away

I just want to be able to take very clear pictures and zoom in for coral shots. Size matters not.
