Default Going to Corpus in July

My wife and i will be going to Corpus in July for a few days and have no idea what ot do while we are there. i hear the aquarium is really nice so we are thinking that. the other thing iwas thinking about was a dive trip but she is not certified and i have not been in 15y so we i was thinking about those 1day dive classes like they do on a cruse ship. anyone have any thoughts?
two fish were in a tank, one said to the other "I'll drive you man the guns"

I dont believe there is anyone that has 1 day certification classes for diving. I could be wrong but I dont think I am. The aquarium is nice if your from somewhere like kansas and have never seen a fish in a large system. I dont find it impressive at all. Most of everything in there is local which means you will see an aligator, few birds, few sharks, and a few fish. You can cruise through the aquarium in about 2 hours (that including reading everything). You can extend your time there by staying to watch the otter and dolphin show but its no sea world by far.

the aquarium isn't that bad, well maybe if you are used to the Monterray (SP?)or Vancuver aquariums .....it has a couple of displays that you could spend some time looking at....but Jon is right, youll be done in 2 hrs

other activities......if water is clear-snorkeling at jetties, Lexington, Museum of Science (i think there is one downtown), the beach, fishing, check out the Selena and Whataburger stuff downtown...

    but basically, ...the beach

    Adam,
Why don't you take your trip the weekend of the 5th Annual Bigbird Port Aransas Collection Trip and BBQ? There will be lots to do...
