I had a bristtle worm problem in the winter. Last summer some hitched a ride on a medium frag, I had problems with them attacking some prized coral and then they multiplied! Instead of using that worm exit stuff I decided to give them a temperature treatment. I loaded all my live rock into several buckets and left them out side when I knew it would drop to 40ish, not only did the worms die but they were all at the bottom of the buckets(i counted over 50)
That way you get every last sucker out of your system without an ammonia mini cycle-Live rock was fine.
