Dr. Shimek is not a reliable sole source for information. Many of his opinions have been presented as facts or laws in his published works. Too many of his ideas have been successfully challenged through the years. "Questionable" is the term I use whenever he is the author.

On a side note...
I was wondering how could Shimek's findings basically bash IO salt and praise another. The urchin study felt like an advertisement almost.

Same as any "Scientific" study, depends on who's paying the bill.
