Default Can anyone help me ID this goby...

I recently went to port A jetties and caught this little goby, was wondering if anyone has caught one of these or if anyone knows the official name of this type of goby so I can read up on it. Wondering if it is ok to keep in the tank, etc....etc....

Yep, looks like a Molly Miller Blenny. We caught one last summer, great personality. Ours has out grown his favorite hiddy hole, so he has to squirm to squeeze back in it. They are just too funny.
O, yea! now the right ear!

So that no one else gets confused on the link, it is NOT a molly miller, it is a Frillfin goby. Molly miller is what they thought it was until I identified further in the thread.

+1 for the frillfin goby. I had one in my tank a while back and didnt have too many issues. They are a little aggressive, but didnt bother my corals at all.

Yup, frillfin goby. Watch out if you've got small shrimp.
