    Default new tank

Well since it seems like everyone's posting there tank builds, guess I will post mine. I have been in the hobby for about two years now. I started with a 55 gal tank. Well just like every newbie out there, I tried this and that and then killed it. Well I decided to go bigger. Well I got with bear reef and purchaed a 110 gallon tall from him. The tank has been calflo'ed and drilled for a closed loop system. The stand was unfinished, I did the work on getting it skinned. It also came with a Dan's Aquaplex acrylic sump, and had some mods done to it. I later purchased supplies and materials from various club members. The list of people who help me would read like a NASCAR post race sponsor list. I would like to thank Pete (Ping) for the countless weekends to get this thing up. We fought for two weeks to get a small drip fixed. It's a work in progress, by no means I am in no rush to finish it.

(ps- The milk jug is a temp fix, till I get a proper overflow container. I need it, that bullet one can make some skimmate.)

The thought of tin and salt never crossed my mind till ya'll said something. Well it will give it the look I am looking for which is the "rustic/antique" look. On another note. everyone made the move. The only question I have is when will my torch and GBTA open back to the normal sizes.
