On that length of tank I think that your wave cycle is going to be awful short if you go with the wave maker. I toyed with the idea and just ended up deciding on the vortech. Actually just finished hooking it up and playing with the modes a few minutes ago. Really love the flow that it puts off on the tank and I only got the MP20 but my tank is only 58 gallons.
