    Default Olive Cowry's

hey guys i picked up a few of these on the island and they have been breeding like crazy, so if anyone wants some let me know.

i can sell them for like 3 for $10.00, i dunno they sell for $7.99 online. they are great sand-sifting cowries and they have beautiful shells that don't get dull and ugly or get covered in coralline. here is a pic i took from aquacon, for rep. purposes. my camera skills are non-existant, lol.

Do you have a dealers permit to legally sell stuff that you collected?

That's a fine line that I would want to walk. You have to be able to distinguish the bred ones from the captured. The fines aren't worth the trouble.

    You've got to be kidding.

And little whorls have lesser whorls, And so on to viscosity

please read my post again! i am not selling the cowries i collected. i am selling their offspring.

i have a resident fishing license and that is all i need to collect these guys. if they happen to make whoopi and have babies once they are in my tanks then its all good. i have already checked. believe me, with all the experts on maast, i have learned to research first!

and before anyone asks-i am able to differentiate the collected from the bred because of a sharpie. a little trick i learned from my lfs. make markings on the ones you collect. they had some snails that were used in a study and had markings on them. i thought that was a great idea. so i stole it. lol.
