    Default First 2 fish...

    Well I went to my LFS with intentions to buy a purple fire fish but they were out so I came home with these 2 guys....



    The hippo tang is very small...under the size of a quarter. He is very active and eating up a storm...I'm in love!! The second fish is a lawnmower blenny...very cool fish!

    be sure you feed that little hippo often - three or four times a day (small amounts each time to avoid polluting the tank). also, add some nori to the tank so it can graze between feedings as well. also, start planning the upgrade or looking for a new home for it in the near future since it will likely outgrow that 29 gallon tank pretty fast.

    Yes the little guy is in my 90g! He is eating mysis shrimp really well and I have some green sheet algae hanging in there also. The thing that surprised me is that he is feasting on my pods. He is just constantly picking them off the glass. I also just noticed him picking at some green hair algae that has grown on one of my powerheads.
