nothing special but finally looking a little better. have always battled hair algae and im sure it's because i didnt cook the marco rocks correctly. HA was worse before carbon dosing. bought some prodibio just the other day, and maybe that will assist with the carbon dosing? im fully stocked as you can tell and just acquired the trigger from a friend who didnt want it

most of the corals have been given to me or were bought from one reefer locally. im hoping to get ORA stuff this summer!

yes, I've got one of the left side and one on the right side, they dont face directly each other but were setup to make a gyre effect. helps clean the back and front of the tank. The cap is supposed to have a tint of green with purple rim but I dont think the camera can pick up on anything like that

Sweet, you have a flame hawkfish. I have one myself, I love the little bugger. A lawnmower blenny or an angel will keep your algae under control. I have a lawnmower blenny and a bicolor angel and have zero hair algae.

Where'd you get the duncans? I want some but have a hard time finding them in Austin.

I got the duncans locally for a great price. Two heads for less than 30 dollars. I'm hoping the skirts will get very long on these from the flow, so far theyre extending more now. Yes the flame hawk is funny. He's always stalking the other fish and seeing what they're up to; he's a very curious fish

Not sure what type of zoas they are but they are big. They love strong lighting and the flow has made the skirts longer

    Thanks jerry!
