Aright guys, going to need some help with my new project. i've seen where folks have used a 55gal as sump/refug, i just think that this 55 is to tall. i've talked to Ace to have him stop by and drill and insert a overflow to make this tank a RR tank. so i need some ideas/help on the pluming. below is the link

Since you'll have Ace at the house, I'd get suggestions from him, digest them, and then post your thoughts. Once you know where your holes/overflows are going, it might be easier to make decisions.

If you are going to do any type of wave box, you should plan for it now. If you are going to keep SPS in that tank, you should plan on a chiller.

Frankly, I'd have Ace build you a sump & fuge. He's very good at it, and you will be much happier with that than the 55.

I would, however, suggest an end calfo. I really, really like mine.
