I've got nudibranches

I have nudribanches on my zoos. I make a rookie mistake and I didnt dip them. Funny thing is that they look a lot like Berghias. Are Berghias also dangerous to zoos? They are laying eggs on my zoos too.. What do you all think?

they are probably zoa eating nudis. just keep removing the ones you see if you cant take the zoas out and dip em. you may try adding a wrasse or two to see if the will eat them.

THey kind of look like that, something similar but they look more like Berghias. Whatever they may be, I wont be taking a chance, I will take them out. The reason i didnt dip them was because i didnt have any treatment, and i still dont. I would have to order it online cause we dont have any local. I think i will try a fresh water dip. I think I might also have the pox.

i would dip them if i were you. can't be too cautious with hitchhikers

saliferts flatworm exit will kill them but not the eggs . It takes a few treatments spaced out to end thier cycle(adults, eggs , newly hatched). Its better to just get a wrasse that eats them if you are going to keep zoos. Even if you dipped the new zoos you still would have gotten the nudis cause it doesnt kill the eggs. Dip with quarrantine would have.my green coris eats the nudis and thier eggs. I have had a 6 line and all I ever seen it eat was fish food(lazy fish). If you use the salifert flatworm exit in your tank which you should or you could miss a few , you better have a 100% water change ready. If you have any flatworms they will all die at once poisoning everything in your tank. If you see 2 or three you probably have hundreds in the rocks so beware.

Luckily, no flatworns here, just the Nudis. Im going to the tropic marine solution but for now fresh water dips. I payed a ton for the zoos that i have dont want to loose them. I am aware of the flatworm exit and the effect that dying flatworms have, it happened to a friend. His water turned yellow because of the flatworms and it killed a lot of his livestock. I'd like a six line wrasse but it might be too big for my 14g biocube. What do you think

You can also pick the spiral shaped egg cases off of the zoa polyps; easy to see out of the water with a little actinic; tweezers worked for me. I'd get a start on it ASAP!!!!! I personally think a freshwater dip is just as effective as "treated" water for nudis. They just disintegrate or fall apart in a matter of seconds. The iodine (Lugol's etc.) is good for the zoa polyps as well as being "toxic" for critters.

he eats pretty much anything that had parents. poisonous or not. however he doesnt eat my ornamental shrimp or those stupid asternias which I used to like until I heard reports of them munching on coral. heniochoris? something like that. green coris wrasse. behold the destroyer!!
