Do they get bigger or do most of them stay small... Like what Im sayin I guess is has anyone had brittles to actually reproduce?

Have you thanked a vet today?
I counted them about a year ago in my big tank. I had a bazillion. Exactly. Seriously, there were several under every rock, and thousands of arms reaching out of the holes in rocks. So, yes, they reproduce. With arms, max size is about a quarter.

hey guys, i am going to bump this thread to the top again, lol.
i was wondering if harlequin shrimp can/will eat these. i really don't want pillow stars in my tank and chocolate chip stars can get expensive.

I still wanted to buy some of these little guys, although I saw a couple in my sump a few weeks back but havnt seen any since. I do have a harliquen shrimp in my display and a hungry wrasse. maybe thats why I dont see them very often. I see lots of asternia stars though
No, when I had harlequins they did NOT eat the tiny brittle stars.
