Ushio DE 150w 14K HQI bulb FS
I got myself a 14K ushio as a replacement bulb for my hqi nanocube for christmas, and it was just too bright. All of my sps in the top half of the tank is bleached or is in the process of bleaching. I thought it was just a matter of the bulb breaking in, but the bulb is still super bright. I have since gotten a 20K bulb and prefer the intensity. This bulb was first fired on 26/12/08, was given a very conservative build up phase, and has been on for 6 hours per day since the acclimation, so there is still a lot of life left in this bulb (i'd say 5-7 months left). If you are looking for a great bulb, that is really bright and makes the corals pop, this one does the job. Asking $30.
