What type of ballast are you using? Curious to see how you wired it up.
Judging by the time stamp on your last post, you were up late doing messing around with this.

the W.H.B. has 4 red wires (i guess the positives or hot wires) and one yellow wire( the negative ) basically i hooked each red wire to a bulb then i made a jumper wire hooking up all of the other ends of the bulbs and just have one coming off for the yellow wire for each ballast
i notice with page you posted that it was made for real end caps that had two wires coming off of each one which i didnt use i was being cheap and used these and coated them with a rubber
work horse ballast 7 and a 5

Julian,
You sure it don't have 4 red wires and 1 yellow? Mine is that way.

The RED are the hot and the YELLOW is the common. Use this diagram for the WH5/7.

and it still don't work...?

That's a parallel wiring set-up, which was the way to go on AC circuits. Red's are hot and the yellow is a common.
Listen, I have a few extra icecap end caps if you want them (2 sets I think).
I also have a small 1.5" frag of some kind of green Acro that's been knocked all around my tank and still going strong. It's nothing special, but it's very hardy. You're more than welcome to it once you're tank's acclimated.
