You gotta tell me more about that GHL controller. Looks like its limited on expansion, can you only control 1 tank with it? Looks crazy easy to program

This thing is awesome! If you don't mind me asking, what has all of the equipment cost you?

The Profilux controller is FAR from being limited on expansion. You can easily upgrade ports for accessories to the controller. It's as easy as adding an expansion board to a motherboard. When the Profilux III comes out, people can actually upgrade their II's to a III by just buying components to upgrade it. You can run mulitple tanks/systems with the controller. You can also add multiple power bars to the controller, to allow multi programmable outlets.

If anyone is curious about the controller, just go to their sponsored forum on RC.

You can also ask questions in the Cherry Corals forum here on MAAST, since Todd at CC is the main importer/distributor of the system in the US.

Well I think its run around $3100 for all the equipment. Nowhere near that in livestock, as the tank has been on autopilot for months now (without buying any livestock). I think I am going to move the direction of the tank to being a zoa only tank. That is once I stop buying tools on ebay

The main system comes with everything you need from Elos (well almost everything ) $1599.99:

I was comparing the RKE and GHL on some website, and the RKE had more options, but the GHL had some pretty cool stuff in it. I saw that you could add slots, but how many slots could you really add to the Profilux? With the RKE you can put 63 modules, so you could have a crazy combination of things.

Im going to go ahead and ask because though!

so you bought all that for a zoa collection?

i think it is this impracticality that causes reefers to lose interest.
