Nano Questions

Finally starting my nano that i have had just sitting on my dresser. I always go a little fish crazy when stocking tanks so i figure i can ask for help here on MAAST
Its a 5.5 gallon tank with a HoB filter and 18w PCs, I might put a maxijet in just to give it a little more flow. The tank is in the cycling process.
Ok so here comes a few questions i have for now.

Fish im interested in putting in the tank are, a pair of clowns, coarse wrasse, 6 line wrasse, fire fish, and maybe MAYBE one of those little blue tangs wolf was selling. Is that to many fish for the size?

i would like to have an anenome but nothing thats to big or has long tenticles, any ideas?

i have some dry rock that has been sitting on my porch for months, if i wash it out and place it in an established tank, how long til the dry rock becomes live rock?

I believe that is way to small for all those fish. I think the 6 line would be the only fish you could fit in there.

Personally I dont think any of those fish would be sutible for a 5.5 gallon tank. I had ONE clown in a 12g nanocube and felt that that was too small for him even. My first tank was actually a 5.5 with a false back and I had 2 clown gobies in there, they seemed pretty happy plus they have great personalities and coloration.

As for an anenome, no way, they need big tanks, lots of flow, and strong lighting.

even though they are all small fish. the tanks i dimensions 16 x 8.5 x 10.5

if i throw some macro algea while its in the cycling stage will the algea die? what about mangroves?

I just started a nano too (8g. biocube). I just used the water from my big tank..and BAM...Instant ocean. My macro and some zoas are doing ok right now.Too impatience to wait for the cycle.

If it's not, dude for real... first off, I'm not even sure that many fish can physically fit in a 5.5 gallon tank. Second, I'm not sure any fish is suitable for a 5.5 gallon tank. Third, you probably shouldn't have a tank!

The problem is not the tank. Many people have created a pico reef. The problems the amount and types of fish he plans to keep.

In "El Fab's Sexy Pico, Now in Technicolor!," he only has one fish and it's a damsel.

I personally don't feel that any fish should be confined to a 5.5 gallon tank, never mind several large fish.

Anyway, as stated earlier, April fools day most likely the culprit here.
