as long as the other fish are bigger than him. didnt have problems with coral when i had one. ate live shrimp so never put a cleaner shrimp in the tank. had him in a 20 tall when he was the size of a quarter then as he became bigger moved him to a 55 gal. until he decided to eat a damsel that was a little to big for him. he also ate a dozen ghost shrimp every other day.

if you or anyone you know is selling
a 20-35 gallon tank and stand
lmk
I had a yellow dwarf lion with blood shrimp. The shrimp were in first. I fed him daily and fed real food like clams, squid, and fish. Live ghost shrimp (and all other live foods) are good for enzymes which help with digestion. But let that be staple of their diet and your causing starvation and malnutrition. He would let the shrimp clean him. He was about 3 in. I had an emergency and he didn't get fed for over a week. That's when the shrimp disappeared.

I can't wait till i get mine!!
First tank situation
Could i put a snowflake eel with him in a 30 gallon?
Would he outgrow it too fast?
Any other cool fish/coral that i could put without a problem?
would one fit in a 18 gallon cube tank?
too small?
dimensions are 16"x16"x16"
i would not put a snow flake eel in a 20g. dwarf lionfish dont like bright lights and strong flow, i had one long time ago and would only come out during feeding when powerheads were turned off. the rest of the time it stayed in the back of the tank or in caves
