I used Kents magnesium treatment and it knocked out the bryopsis in about two weeks. I have heard of other mag. treatments not working so I bought Kents. Two month now and free of the scourge. Bryopsis can actually outgrow other algaes so it is very hard to starve it out. I had cheato in my tank at the time and the bryopsis would out compete it.
