do you have pics of your system you'd like to share?
The person that first ran with scissors ruined it for the rest of us.

    Equipment shots:

I have 3 koralias, two #3's and one #1. I also have a HOB filter that you can see in this pic. I removed all of the filter media and filled it with live rock. This is used to keep a pod population coupled with the refugium. Every once in awhile you will see a pod shoot from it.

Dual HOB overflow sprayed with foam. The return line is coming from an in sump mag 18.

Sump, refugium, return and auto top-off (10 gal tank)

Modded Super Skimmer 220 (added a large after market pump and airline hosing, air pump and control knobs). You can also see my cheap 80watt outdoor Lowe's refugium light.

Macro Algae... grows like a weed once I added that light!

Refugium with a couple of mangroves, razor caulerpa, dragon's breath and chaetomorpha. It has a 4.5" DSB covered with live rock rubble and tons of sea shells for pods

Return line from Mag 18 along with a basket of grape caulerpa which I keep controlled to a very small amount. It's primary use is to feed my tangs.

American DJ power control center...(I have two and they still need to be mounted). They work great for turning off equipment during feeding.

HOB overflow and fan that turns on when the MHs come on.

    Lights...

It's not the best equipment but it has taken me two years to get everything where it is at.

If I didn't have a budget, I'm confident that... EVERYTHING in this setup would be completely different!

Thanks, ACE modded this sump for me. I can add a piece of eggcrate to make a frag rack if needed. I took it out recently and use the acrylic bar there to keep the chaeto together to allow for other macro algae.
