be careful with that hawkfish. if it's hungry enough and/or big enough, it might go after that little tang.

I'll keep an eye on the hawk. It's pretty small, maybe 2-2.5in. Found the tang in the sump filter sock again this morning. Like things aren't hard enough as it is...this is ridiculous. Rigged up a sponge in the overflow as a temporary measure until I can find some gutter guard. Seemed to like soggy mushed up algae sheet. Thanks for the tip Scorpiono.

Might be able to use eggcrate or cut some styrofoam to fit and block the overflow. Watch the long nose, they are jumpers also, so he might make the trip down to the sump or out of the tank. Long nose hawks are one of my favorites, with a lot of personality. Good luck.

Picked up some arctic-pods as well as something called Macro-Feast. It is live red macro (Gracilaria pacifica) for feeding and growth in the fuge. Looks like a good product.
