    Whoops, sorry for the misinfo. I had received a little packet of stuff with my korraline to seal the top and thought it was vasoline. Didn't realize it was silicone.

    Still, like the other poster said, there's probably something in the lip that's causing the gap. Even the smallest granule can cause a gap that leaks water.
