If you've wondered where I've been.....

Well our new son, Josiah, finally decided to join us. He was born Monday morning at 7am and is a healthy 8 pounds and 1 ounce.

He's our second son but our first home delivery. If anyone has ever wondered about having a midwife and home delivery, we recommend it. The experience was absolutely amazing and so very peaceful!!!

Congratulations!.....I agree homebirths are awesome. My middle child was a homebirth....she loves to here the story about her birth. You're right.....having a peaceful,warm and loving environment to bring a child to this world makes a big difference. And the best thing about it....our midwife came to check us out after couple of days of delivery......at least mine did.
