internal antibiotic?
Hi,
I've got an old regal tang that looks like he's getting fin rot, mostly on his tail. All other fish show no symptoms. I don't regard removing him from the tank as an option. Saturating the entire tank with antobiotics seems excessive, but I would like to try and help him somehow.
Does anybody know of an internal antibiotic for marine fish that would work? Somebody on an earlier thread said soaking food in Melafix helped.
This is a reef tank. Of course I'm worried about side effects. Has anybody used Melafix in a reef tank and had problems?
Thank You,
Jack
