    Default what is it?

I found a left over piece of shrimp from a previous feeding while I was rearranging a few things in my tank and it was covered in a transparent slimy bubble blob. can anyone tell me what that is?

most likely it is a colony of bacteria that are decomposing the shrimp.

i would siphon it and the shrimp out - it will cause an increase in ammonia then nitrite, then nitrate.
