Desert Coral Aquatics

I ordered a RO/DI part through this store's web-site. They charged my card within 30 mins and now it's been over two weeks and I haven't even received anything. The phone# listed does not work, the "live help" has been off-line for 2 weeks, and they won't respond to emails.
Another Maast member had problems w/this site and filed a complaint w/the BBB in Las Vegas where they're located. He stated they have several complaints on file for these yahoos. I even tried calling the brick-and-mortor store for this web-site and the phone # was disconnected. I've been lucky over the years w/on-line purchases, so I guess an experience like this was bound to happen sometime. Avoid this web-site at all costs.

Looks like BFS has the parts I need. Why didn't I order it from them? If only I had a time machine.

Have you filed a charge back with your CC company?

Yeah, Contact your credit card a.s.a.p. It can sometimes take days to get your money back. So the sooner you start it the sooner you'll get your money back to buy what you wanted in the first place.
And thanks for the heads up.

I just feel sorry for anyone that's ordered the more expensive items like chillers or lighting systems. Thanks for the info, the cc was my check card so I'll contact SACU today.

Man......I just placed an order with this company but the Payment buttons have been disabled. Good thing too! So...I call the telephone number listed and it's unavailable, so I use the online help and get no confirmation of anything...so I google them (should have done that first) and I found this thread on google.
So, THANKS! Thanks for taking the time to write this thread up.
Glad I was able to cancel my order before giving them my credit card info!

Thanks!
I wonder if the button was disabled from non-maintenance of the site, or if it was diabled on purpose due to customer abuse? Either way, glad you saved the headache.
