    how much trouble I am I in ? will it destory and kill my Corals?

    just blow it off with a powerhead until you upgrade you clean up crew, also slow down on feeding

    You may need to change your bulbs as well. Mine were over a year old and after I changed them, it cleared up pretty well. I thought my palys were goners.

    more frequent water changes would help this.

    Definately a water change, nutrients are high. Cyano loves to grow in areas where there is little water flow

    Check your DI resin and your filter block! Texas has nasty water.... Flow helps too!

    Find the source though, or you will fight it forever.

    Before you blow it off with more current or a baster (for tricky spots0...Add some polyfiber to your mechanical filter (in front of the pad); sometime that day disgard the fiber. You will see the cotton has turned red or brown with algae. This helps significantly against the bac reproducing itself, with out over doing the water changes.
