    Default Fishing in Port A

I'm looking to take a trip this weekend to the beach. Some Fishing and hopefully get a couple peppermint shrimp. What kind of fish could I catch that's edible this time of year? No boating, just piers or shoreline fishing.

Peppermint shrimp might be hit or miss. I live in Corpus Christi and our jetties have been vacant of shrimp and crab for some time now. In the summer they are everywhere. As far as fishing goes, try fishing off of the jetty. It's very long and should hold lots of fish year round, especially sheepshead.

    Thanks for the site Jeff.
Kenny, I'm hoping to have the luck these guys had with shrimp, only I won't need but 3 or 4.

If you get lucky and have extras I'd be interested in a couple.

You may catch some red fish or some trout. The cleaner the water is the more trout. Red fish and blacktip shark like it dirtier.
