Take it easy maastards!! yeah I am sure chris meant 1-2 per gallon, and that is the general rule of thumb for some decent biological filtration. In fact in a nano, i would say its desired to have at least that if not more because most filtration systems in a nano are mechanical. Difficult to have a fuge or a decent skimmer, so biological filtration is key. Congrats on the new buy and keep us posted, any questions we are here to help
