need to know what i am doing wrong i can't get them to fully open up. i have a 110 tall with two 48" dual t5HO with reflectors i have antic and the daylight. using the RO water and doing water changes atleast once a month. feed once a day have skimmer running every other day. they will not fully open up for me. any ideas?

Try moving them around. Most shrroms like low light and low flow. Some shrroms even like intense light. I have both kinds. Took some moving around before they became happy.

thanks this is the second time i am moving them i am going to see maybe under a big base rock next.

may need less flow on it or none at all

its not moving so i know there is not water flow on it. will move it under the big base rock and see if there is any change. thanks for the info guys

give them some time and make sure your water q is consistant.

thanks again for the help guys i plan on sticking to the water changes and keeping consistant with the steps. only changes for the future is a sump and refuge.
