not sure... it is the coralife 9w. from what i understand it is low flow

50 to 200 GPH flow required. Eheim 160 Compact or a MaxiJet would work fine for that.

i happen to have a maxijet 900 extra sounds like that will do the trick huh.

That MJ900 has a 230gph flow rate. Go to Marine Depot to choose a good pump, then buy the right one, locally.
