    Default Poor guy...

    my girlfreind dropped a bottle of windex in my tank
    my girlfreind drooped a bottle of windex in my tank and she couldnt get ahold of me last night. so she tried to drain all the water out and fix it her self not knowing one thing about a saltwater tank. by time i got home all my fish and coral were dead i checked my salinity in the tank and it wouldnt even read any salt at all. i lost a foxface,2 maroon clowns, a scooter blennie, and a green chromis. my corals i lost were frogspawn, hammer,numerous zoas and mushrooms,and a 6-7 inch anemone all my liverock is probably deadrock now i have nowhere to get salt my lfs is not open today i had about 60 pounds of live rock......

    time for a new girlfriend...jk... man that sucks bro, it seems like a bad time for everybody. i just lost about 90% of all my livestock also. my tank was torn down to re-texture walls and the guys sprayed some in the container.

    i dont know what i would do to my gf if she did that ( i hope she would know better then to do what that girl did .... )

    she better do something to make up for it ;)

    When he got home his GF had gone to stay with her mother. LOL... She flat out got out of Dodge! I hope he's not too hard on her though, accidents happen and she did attempt to get a hold of him and then attempted to save the tank.

    im happy i got my gf also interested in the hobby but she might have panic an would have done the same thing.

    Andrew nice picture You have way too much time on your hands. Isn't there somebody who needs your attention Don't kill your GF. Give her a big hug she ment well. Everything can be replaced.

    I wouldn't be mad, at least she tried her hardest to fix it.
    The worst story I have ever heard was here, a few years back.
    I forget who it was, but his girlfriend got mad at him, and threw something right through the front of his tank when he wasn't home. When he got back, all he saw was his broken aquarium and all of his dead livestock in the tank/on the floor.
    He even posted a few pics.
    Poor guy...

    Yeah that is a pretty bad story, i can just imagine how much water was all over the place. If that isn't a reason to reconcile i don't know what is LOL

    Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...
