    Default Macro Algae

Anyone need/want some macro algae for their fuge? I just cleaned mine out and have quite a bit of Grape Caulerpa and a good sized ball of Chaeto. There might be some Feather Caulerpa mixed in with the Grape, but I tried to keep most of that.

It's free to anyone who wants/needs it. But, I will take a small frag or two if you have any. I'll be home for a while. But, I'll be gone from about 5:30 until about 8:00 tonight. Call me (288-8999) for directions and to make sure I'm home.

If nobody wants it, and it's still here tomorrow, I'm getting rid of it. I've heard that others just flush it, but that doesn't seen like a great idea. I guess it'll go into the trashcan just as easily.

flushing it is a VERY bad idea... jus throw it in the lawn. Good for the soil.

I'm going to hold on to it for an extra day or so. Only one person is interested, but there's plenty to share. She can't pick it up until Tuesday or Wednesday, though.

If you want some, let me know. Otherwise, it all goes to her.

Apparently, Caulerpa goes bad if it sits in a bucket of water for two days. I went to take a small amount out of the bucket tonight, and it stunk like you wouldn't believe. I had to throw it out.

I'm guessing it's because there was no circulation?!? Anyone know for sure?
