I'll get some pics up this weekend, a rock was removed and a little aquascapeing was done. I've included a mushroom that was about the size of a nickel and now .... whoa.lol. I've been waiting to post pics for a while because I've decieded to try a Carnation. I didn't want to show a before and after of something like from beautiful coral to a shrivled knub. But it's been a couple of months, thriving really well and has dropped two arms already that are also doing really good.

Here's a quick update.




Plate's a little mad, just cleaned the glass.

One of the arms he dropped, placed it in a hole next to the original and has already attached.



Polyps are out all the time.







....ok....lol..... a couple of friends have said this is the best "ghetto" tank they have seen ..... so here's my "setup" lol.





Notice the rubberband holding on the overflow (turned into a refugium) lol

and a hood made out of a wine crate that holds 3 55w.


Not too happy with the pictures, some are a little blurry ... I'll take some better ones when I get the chance.

Looks nice...and the canopy is, well, just...yeah. I'm speechless on the canopy! I would hate to see it painted! Leave it, it's classic! Great conversation piece.

I'm will be receiving 5 or 6 really nice LPS frags on tuesday that I'm thinking about just getting rid of since my 40g really isn't set up to house LPS. I'm getting them through a trade with a member on another forum, and the deal was to good for me to pass up. I'm getting a couple of acans, kryptonite candycanes, and a blasto that is just ridiculous. Your tank is probably set up much better than mine to house this stuff, let me know if you may be interested in any of it, I highly doubt you will see any LPS like what I'm getting available locally. For now that is, I'm sure AM's will have all of our LPS needs covered soon at the rate they're going, lol.
