i cant tell if she is ok

My female Picasso just lies on the sand bed in one spot while the male Picasso lays next to her leaning on her, they do this at night while sleeping, but its day time now, they usually swim around, when I feed them they go for the food and eat, but when the food is gone, she goes back down to the same spot and lays there motionless, and the male swims a bit, then goes back down to her to lay with her, she does go sideways and moves around a bit, but for the most part she just lies there, I hope she is not ill? Or dying?

I've had a clown do this before and it eventually faded in health and passed away.

I think the only thing you can do if your parameters are normal is to hope for the best and maybe feed twice as often and skim twice as wet. I would also dose garlic extract during feeding to entice feeding.

Is she ILL due to other clowns in the tank? Are these the only two? She could be stressed from other clowns and competing. Sounds like she can't find a good spot to call home due to competition taking the prime Real-estate.

These are the only clowns, last thing I added was coral. I did add garlic extreme but eating is not the problem, she eats fine every time I put food in there. I can't afford to have her pass away! Ha I just got her, and she was way expensive! :( I'm hoping this goes away, this is the first day she has done this, the male stays next to her at all time, maybe he is bothering her? I'm hoping for the best, maybe this will go away by tomorrow :(

I mentioned same thing in other post. It is posssible for the microbubbles to be a problem for the fish (if there are massive amounts). I would shut skimmer down for a while. You wont have troubles short term without a skimmer and can always do water changes.

My goodness! I just shut the skimmer valve off, and the clowns started to swim like crazy! Sort of like a dance! Ha, well that worked fast!! Thanks! But what happens when my skimmer goes back on? :(

If that was the problem, must have had LOTS of microbubbles.
Need to fix the micro bubble problem either with this skimmer or a different skimmer.

Well there was not tons of them, but the problem had been going on for a while, maybe that was not the problem, but the clown did get off of the sand bed and now swims, but close to the sandbed still.
