plastic rod is a really cool idea it would suck if it broke though I dont think i could risk it

your not lying...I originally was going to have a one sided arch and only have it making contact with the sand in one spot, but I didn't have the guts to leave it so I added the second rod and made a complete arch. Hopefully this gives it enough support to never collapse, but if it does collapse then I guess I will just have to redo. That would suck, but it really wasn't so bad to put together. Plus it would give me an excuse to buy new coral
