Thread: Will Bryopsis come back if....

Default Will Bryopsis come back if....

I dried the rock out, boiled it, and dried it out again? I have had some tonga that I did this too, and I am still sceptical about adding it to a tank because I can still see small dead strands of Bryopsis on it even after scrubbing and all of the above. Let me know your opinion on this.

    Thanks!

I think I think you are probably right, I might have to go for it. It is just scary stuff.

Ace is building me an overflow for a third small tank that I am setting up(another 30 long). I am going o move some of my rocks almost lost to bryopsis over to it with no substrate. This is going to be my bryopsis killing test tank. I have a 175mh 10k that will be above it and it will have a 10 gallon sump fuge. I am going to try every mythical piece of advice I have heard to remove this stuff, and maybe try some homebrew concoctions. Hopefully something will succeed very well. I just want a cure for this, it is really a motivation killer, that can push awesome reefers out of the hobby.
