To catch a Damsel...
Does anyone have a fish trap that will work for a Yellow Tailed Damsel? He has been in there since I cycled the tank and I have been trying forever to catch him. I tried an aquafina bottle with the neck inverted and the mouth opened up a little but he gets out when I try to pull it to the surface. He is now leary of going in the bottle from several failed attempts. Any Ideas? Anyone want him if I catch him?

I had to remove everything from my tank to catch mine. Donated them to the high school. Someone was talking about designing tooth pick harpoons. Might be your best shot. LOL
If you have a tank divider or sheet of stiff plastic, isolating it to one end of the tank, gives you a head start.

That aquafina bottle will probably work, you just need to cut it so the neck inside is almost touching the base (i.e. the damsel has to make a 90 degree turn to get inside). Makes it a lot harder for them to get out.
