    Well, as luck would have it,, AD had it in one of their displays for about 3-4 days.. this guy is over a foot across.. so wish me luck

    Ah thats the one that member jrsatx was telling my about very cool. Good luck with it, looks to be very healthy so thats a good start.

    Ah yes now I'm feeling it.

    Rumor has it Mike that they are beyond difficult to keep alive. I even think I recall being bashed apart on this very same forum for having bought said anemone. Was cussed around for having bought an anemone that nobody can keep alive and the posters felt that I was an especially poor reefer.

    Thank goodness that kind of mentality has died down. Best of luck with yours. I should bring mine down and see if they make babies.

    I agree that it is a very difficult species to keep alive... so were simple saltwater fish years ago... I have been reefing for close to 20 years and this is the FIRST one i have tried because of the level of difficulty.. this hobby is about advancing husbandry of these animals and I believe my setup is stable enough, large enough, has enough light, etc. I would not recommend this anemone to anyone,, I know you were not chastising me,, I just wanted to give some background and reasoning.. hopefully my experience will be enough
