Ok I've got a new tank coming in and I've got 200 lbs of live rock. 100 lbs in a display tank and 100 lbs in an icechest. Half of the rock in the ice chest I bleached due to aptasia infestion and there might be a couple more in the display tank. I do have some wierd anenome problem and some wierd black hair algae problem that dosnt brush off easily. Should I bleach all the rock and start fresh. Its all coraline encrusted and established very well and Its working wonders as a bio filter. I'd hate to have to quarintine my fish and corals in a fifty gallon until the tank cycles, which probably wouldnt be that long because I've got fourty lbs of live sand that is established that I can add in with the brand new bags of sand ive got, which is approx eighty lbs. I was thinking of adding a five gallon bucket or so of established tank water in my new tank if it would help, any opinions on that? Im such a noobie could you experienced hobbyests give some good opinions? Thx a ton!
