    Default Seio Powerhead???

I am thinking of getting two Seio 820gph for my 125 gallon tank. Keep in mind I am on a limited budget so no Tunze :(

What do you think of Seio for the money?

tough question. since the controller is almost $200, i think it should last longer than a year. if you dont need to control it, the pumps seem to do fine.

similar, speeds up and slows down the pump. it only works with 1100 and up, so you should be fine with the 820. you might look into the hydor koralia as well.

The Hydor Koralia and Seio are the two brands i am considering. i was hoping to get a definative answer about one of them, but it seems they are both about the same. Since I like the wide out put of the Seio, I wil go with them....Thoughts?

If you go with the Seio, I would highly recommend getting the Sure Grip magnet for mouning each pump. The mounting brackets & suction cups that come with the Seio's aren't that great. Plus you have a little more freedom of moving the powerhead around this way.

Koralia just released their model 6 and model 7 and they are stubbier (wish I had the money right now). They also have just come out with a brand new controller that I saw in action. I was very impressed with it. I've had my Koralias since they hit the market and never a days problem. Plus you can find them cheap IMHO.
