another newbie ques.
went down to feed my fish this morning and saw the head of my cleaner shrimp (just got him 5 days ago) of its shell by the bicolor blennies hole.. i was like .. great -.-. looked around andafter about 3 minuits of panicking i found him. he only shedded.
jsut wondering if its good that he shedded (i think it is)

It is normal, they shed as they grow. I think all shrimp do it as they grow, every few months or so...

Yes, he molted. Which is a very good thing, means you have the right parameters in your tank. If you have any hermit crabs (or any other crab) you'll see them molt as well. I thought several times that I had lost a hermit or two, just to see them crawling around later. Its kinda of creepy cause you think you lost something and you wig out looking all over the tank hoping that you will see it's REAL body.
Could you imagine if humans did that? Ooooh, what a Halloween movie that would be.
