    Default Advice Needed

I just bought a used 125 gallon tank... It needs to be cleaned. What should I use and what should I avoid?

Also, I want to make sure the tank, sump, and skimmer work well...Should I just fill it in my garage and test it for a few days to make sure it does not leak...

Any other advice on a used tank?

you can clean it with vinager.dont clean it with any kind of chemicals.
you can fill it up for a couple days and let it sit to check for leaks.

And salt. Coarse salt can be rubbed into areas to help scrub without scratching.

yup....everyone is telling whats best....viniger is great....most mix 50/50...but you dont have to fill it all the way up...if its a 125, just get a 5 G bucket and make the mix...soak everything....for the stuff that is hard like rock, just use a razor blade....if its a glass tank...if you would like, feel free to give me a call....my number is 254-495-1320
