make sure you have your cookies enabled. As for the window:

The Internet Explorer window size is set upon opening to the same size as when it was last closed. If you minimize Internet Explorer (click Minimize on the System menu [globe icon on the left of the Internet Explorer title bar]), right-click the Internet Explorer button on the taskbar, and then click Close on the menu that appears, Internet Explorer may open in a smaller window.

    RESOLUTION

You can change the Internet Explorer window back to the preferred size by using either of the following methods:
    Maximize the Internet Explorer Window

To maximize the Internet Explorer window, click Maximize on the System menu (globe on the left of the Internet Explorer title bar).
    Resize the Internet Explorer Window

To resize the Internet Explorer window, move the mouse pointer to the lower-right corner of the Internet Explorer window, and then drag the window until it is the size you want.

When you click on a short cut to Internet Explorer in Windows XP SP2, it does not open in the maximized state. The maximized button will be visible and clicking that will cause Internet Explorer to fill the screen.

    CAUSE

This is because the short cut to Internet Explorer has its default "Run" property as "Normal Window"

    RESOLUTION

Right click on the desktop and create a short cut to "Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe"
Right click on the short cut and then select Properties.
Click on the tab "Shortcut" and then change the value in the Run command to "Maximized".
    Click Apply.
Now Internet Explorer will open in the maximized state when you click on any short cut to iexplore.exe.

    As per microsoft...

Looks like I got most of it figured out except I cant find the setting to tell the computer to save all my log in names and passwords, it'll hold them for a short while then it clears for some reason. Any ideas?

There is a selection when you right click on the IExplorer icon and choose properties. Then you can delete files, and clear everything...you can be clearing out everything if you do this. Also, do you have any 'privacy' software? Sometimes those privacy softwares will clear out everything and you'll be starting over from scratch.

Still very much having problems remembering passwords and user names. Also, when I click on the red X in the top right hand corner, it automaticly goes to the desktop and I lose the log in information. Wheres that nerd squad when you need them? lol
